It’s not difficult. Make a single score line in the wine glass bottle using an inexpensive tool — and then pour boiling water over the score line. I use a glass cutter and some light oil. Glass cutters are about the size of a pencil and use a diamond or a hardened wheel to mark a score into glass so that it can be broken cleanly along a line.

  2. Start burning the cotton string and quickly dip the bottle into ice water
  3. Bottle will break right off
