Maximize your outdoor living space with cheap patio paver stones you design on your own. Create or extend your patio space, add a walkway or create stepping stones to your yard with paver stones or paver mold and ready mix.

The easiest way to get your cheap patio paver stones is by creating them yourself with a reusable plastic mold. These heavy-duty plastic molds turn a little pre-mixed concrete into concrete garden stepping stones.

Paver Stones Molds

My favorite paver stone molds are the random stone designs.

Design the layout you prefer. Options are endless as you can see in the example by Aeneontrue.

The thickness of concrete can be varied depending on the thickness of your stepping stones. Ad more water to your mix of concrete for a stepping stone or patio design leveled with the ground. Use a thicker and heavier mix of concrete to design  stepping stones with higher stone level.

I love to work with quikrete. Quikrete Concrete Mix can be used for building or repairing foundation walls, sidewalks, curbs, steps and ramps, setting posts and to create paver stones. Quikcrete is a fast-setting concrete mix ready to use. It consists of proper blend of cement, sand, and gravel or stone. Just add water and pour.

Stamped concrete paver stones are easy to maintain. Individual sections are more flexible to adapte to dry grounds due to drought or swelling grounds due to rain. This prevents cracking in the future. If a section gets damaged, simply remove and create a new stamped paver stone.

Stepping Stones, patios or walkways created with this method are much cheaper and can be done in sections at a time. This especially comes in handy if you like to only add a little at a time and expand as needed later on.

Create Your Paver Stones

Prepare the ground and place the concrete garden mold. Premix the concrete and pour into the molds. I suggest using two molds, as y0u can create while one dries. Remove the mold, rinse and reuse.

The term “paver” refers to thin, flat stones designed for use in paving projects such as walkways, patios, and driveways. More affordable than stone, more colorful than brick, and more durable than asphalt, concrete pavers are a practical yet attractive option anywhere around your property. Concrete pavers are a popular choice for driveways, sidewalks, patios, and pool surrounds. Installing pavers to create patios and walkways in your yard adds value to your home.
